Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! I had a great time and workout at the box. The coaching was phenomenal!!! I doubt if I can go again tomorrow, but I’ll try. Again, thanks for letting mix in a wod while I’m down here. The community aspect of Crossfit is why it has become such a staple in mine and my wife’s life. Your members and coaches made me feel like I had been a member there for years. You guys should be proud of your box and I will wear your Sparta shirt with pride (and I’ll brag about the coaching at my Elk Grove box).

Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome at CrossFit Irvine. I thoroughly enjoyed my workout with you and your members on Tuesday morning. CFI will be my gym away from home when I have to travel to our Irvine office.
I feel like I made progress on my form in both the strict pull up and in my push-ups. Thank you so much for that. Your little nuggets of wisdom regarding keeping my head in a neutral position, the flexing and the duffel bag analogy will carry with me throughout my lifetime in my quest for fitness.
Thanks for the encouragement and for putting on a great class. Death by box-jumps and push-ups was AWESOME!! Tomorrow, I will wear my CrossFit Irvine shirt to my gym, CrossFit Genesis and tell everyone about my great experience with you.

I liked your class a lot. I have dropped in to a few gyms and learned the most in yours by far.
Crossfit has a lot of different movements and it’s very difficult to get up to speed with them all. I consider myself an intermediate crossfitter, I can do some things and struggle with others.
Most coaches will sit back, give a few tips and let you figure it out yourself. Your coaching style is very detail oriented and is extremely helpful in understanding the lifts and movements.
You stand right over your athletes and break down the movements, piece by piece. I was getting better by the minute. I left your class feeling like I learned about 1 months worth of information in 1 hour.
Thanks again for letting me drop in. I made it back to snowy NYC last night.

I had a great experience while visiting CrossFit Irvine. I was really nervous going to a new crossfit, I have never been to another crossfit affiliate and I didn’t know what to expect. Well that isn’t totally true I knew the workout was going to be hard it is crossfit after all but I wasn’t sure how the people were going to be.
You made me feel welcome the moment I walked in the door. I wasn’t treated like a stranger, you corrected my form just like my coach at home. I have to say you partnered me with Carla and that was great. For going into a strange place I was so lucky that you decided to pace us out and have us work with partners. Carla was so supportive what a great partner, she watched me to make sure I was lifting properly and she cheered me on each rep. Shawna also offered a lot of support which wasn’t expected because she was working on her own. When I left everyone said goodbye
You have a nice facility, the class was a tough workout and the people are great. I will be in the area in November and I hope to be able to take another class at that point.

I wore my CFI shirt today and bragged about you like crazy to my class. I honestly had such a wonderful experience. Central is amazing but there is a lack of personal attention that comes with class sizes up into the 20′s – I didn’t feel that lack at your gym at all. Every one in the classes was so friendly and I can’t wait to come back and see you in August!

I travel all over the country for work and have visited about 15 CF boxes in the last 12 months.
CF is about the community, the coaching and the joy of achieving results you didn’t think were in you.
You are an excellent coach. I appreciated the spotting and movement critique that you gave me and everyone else.
I also like your focus on 100%technical completion of the skills first, then some slack on the metabolic wod. To many times I have seen CF’ers just cranking out horrible form movements just to shave a few seconds on the time.
I don’t come to orange county that much, but when I do I will definitely be back.
